Fake Tattoos for Fancy Dress
We get a surprisingly large number of calls from people wanting to be a personality at Fancy Dress events and needing a tattoo to complete the image!
I had one from a gentleman at the weekend wanting to be the Hit Man (Agent 47) for a Heroes and Villains party. This was the final result!
Other fake tattoos I've done for Fancy Dress have included a collection of Mel C tattoos and Rhianna!

Festivals, Funerals and Christenings
I had a first at the weekend! I was booked to balloon model at a funeral!! Ironically, I was booked to face paint at a Christening the next day, so I experienced both ends of the spectrum.
Actually, as parties go, this celebration of the life of a loved one lost to cancer was amazing! It really was a celebration of her life bringing together all the aspects of life that she loved. There was flamenco dancing & Scottish dancing, singing and an open mic to share stories of her adventures. Nobody was dressed in black and there were loads of family and friends there. She must have been an amazing person.
The girls, meanwhile were at several other events in the area enjoying the Summer weather!! The team that went to Keynsham Music Festival on Sunday had a great time but were swamped under the gazebo when the heavens opened!!
Here are some of Sharon's pictures from Keynsham.

More Body Painting
Finally a chance to put into practise all the information and training from Lynne Jamieson's (painting shirts) and Mark Reid's (painting jeans) Body Painting classes last year!!
Again, this is just my photograph - I can't wait for the photographers proofs. :o)
This took about three and a half hours, which only goes to show that understanding the process and deliberatly painting the shadows in as you go rather than adding them at the end can really speed up a body paint!

I learnt so much from going to their classes, they are definately worth the money if you want to improve your body painting. Lynne (http://www.facemagic.com.au/) and Mark (http://www.markreidart.com/) have different styles and approaches but that enables you to take the elements that make sense to you and formulate your own approach. Lynne's understanding of light and how to capture it in paint is second to none and Mark's ability to simplify something down to its basic process to make you a more efficient painter is fantastic.
If you get a chance - take a class!!

Crazy weekend! Lots of fun face painting. :o)
This weekend we were all out and about working hard doing a variety of events and bookings.
I started with a pregnant tummy painting on Friday and then did several other jobs across the weekend including a private booking to do temporary tattoos for ladies going on holiday, glitter tattoos at a company fun day and balloon modelling at an exhibition. Other members of the team were also out at Fun Days, birthday parties and events.
I've created a short video of images from the weekend to illustrate the variety of the work that we enjoy doing!!
